In l956, the founder of the firm was a curious youth, who wondered if he could draw a favorite building he saw in his home town. Armed with a ruler, and several coins, he took a pencil and sketched a simple version with round window the size of a quarter and a dime.
It wasn’t the most accurate depiction of a rendered form, but it whet his appetite to pursue the path of enlightenment. He decided to become an architect. He had no idea about his chosen profession, other than photos of a house suspended over a rock, by someone named Wright. After many years of education, coupled with keen observation of the world around him, he graduated, traveled, apprenticed, licensed, and practiced. Today, after many years making real architecture, he is reaching out to the world - providing this site for enjoyment to would-be architects, erudite colleagues, and potential clients. His firm has been involved in creating buildings for a variety of clients in both the private and public sectors. The principal has a long history of community involvement, and in serving his profession in its highest office, as President of the licensing body, instituted positive and progressive change during his term. He has volunteered his time on many boards and commissions, and contributed freely, and unselfishly of his energy and fellowship. The firm has won design awards, and has been published in numerous journals and newspaper articles and has designed over 500 projects. |
